It stings

Who else finds this funny?

Against the backdrop of some sensational sting operations by the media, an official committee has drafted a comprehensive set of guidelines contemplating a series of dos and don'ts for the broadcast media.

Under the guidelines the media persons should identify themselves to potential targets when undertaking such an operation.

Has this thing got something to do with this or this?

What will be the reaction of the leading lights of our media to these "guidelines"? My guess: Tarun Tejapl -- he of the use-'professionals'-to-get-stories fame -- will agree that they are definitely the need of the hour since there are 'good' stings and 'bad' stings; and the bad stings needed to be weeded out; and at any rate there is no need for any more stings because there is now a media-friendly government and a government-friendly media.

(No, he won't say the latter part; I'm just making it up.)

Hey Barbar, Take a look at this. Pretty much clears up Dilips intentions. Himal magazine of Nepal has often gone anti-India and pro -Maoist, pro-Jehadi. Typical extra-secular, over-liberal bullshit.

Hey guys, more dope on Dilip. Its clear whose side his loyalties lie. In that above link, dilip links to Himal

The catch -- the Himal magazine is an outrightly Maoist propaganda magazine !!!
