Even before the Bangalore blasts were properly editorialized, terror struck once again, this time in Ahmedabad. The highly symbolic nature of the three most recent terror strikes accentuates the steely determination of the group(s) behind the blasts. At the same time, these attacks expose the vulnerability of a socialist country grappling with its identity on the world's stage.Like it or not, India is headed towards an ugly conflict it doesn't need with a certain neighbor. It can tide over the crisis, provided the leaders do what they are supposed to, i.e. provide leadership.
Perhaps for the first time, a CM has called for "quickening the pace of development" to send a strong message to the terrorists.
