Cowboys and Cowgirls

Watch this video, it is great fun. The idea of a fair debate according to seculars is 2 communal vs. 5 secular panelists. Watch who screams the most, watch who blames others for using lung power. The debate is indistinguishable from a fish market. These are our intellectuals.

The video is about 40 minutes, but you can use the slider.

At around 12:50, Swapan Dasgupta calls Teesta Setalvad an overground wing of the terrorists.

Towards the very end of the video, Tehelka's Harinder Baweja reveals a startling side of her character we never knew existed. Watch the video to find out.

loved that pic.

remember your post on Madhya pradesh farmers selling their crops directly to ITC etc? GVLN Rao writes a piece predicting BJP win in MP -

i will expect a lot of trouble in MP from now on. So far this guy chauhan, and Chattisgarh's Raman singh (other than his tryst with that noble soul binayak sen), have been out of the secular coverage. that might change.

a while back you had said kashmiris may not want that azaadi after all. Was that a hunch, or did you have some more info?

check these reports -

In a rare move, people of three areas in Kashmir valley today gave an undertaking to Jammu and Kashmir authorities of not indulging in any protest marches or rallies prompting the authorities to lift the curfew imposed there since Sunday.

The residents of tourist-spot Pahalgam, Kokernag and Sri Gafwara in South Kashmir met the local administration and gave the assurance in writing that they will not take out any protest rallies, if the curfew was lifted.

The administration lost no time in lifting the curfew as a mark of reciprocation on the noble gesture shown by the local residents of these areas, official sources said.

The people-friendly measures came after villagers in three areas - Pahalgam, Kokernag and Sri Gufwara - shouted slogans against the coordination committee for disrupting normal life regularly.

If Kashmiris, the large body of them wanted Azadi, they would have got it. It is fairly obvious.
