Science Quiz

An object placed in water displaces an amount of water whose weight equals that of the object.

Who said this?

(a) Archimedes
(b) Dilip D'Souza
(c) An Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani
(d) This is a trick question
(e) All of the above
(f) None of the above

[Answer] This is really a trick question. The above discovery was made by Dilip D'Souza when he took a dive into the Bombay rotary club swimming pool high on scotch whiskey. Dilip D'Souza is also an Engineering under-graduate from BITS Pilani and has a graduate degree in Computer Science from a US university. So the correct answer is (d). Of course there are no prizes, all we can give you is a link to some sites where they tell you how to get a fake OBC certificate.

Dilip D'Souza realized his mistake since then and corrected it. We were a little surprised, because as far as we knew, the displacement of water is the least important side effect of what is known as the Archimedes principle. The principle takeaway is the force of buoyancy, which, among other things makes interesting things like boats, ships, cruise liners etc possible.

babarindian,
I am sure you would like to enlighten us why the land of opportunities can never have a black president. And yes, why did the US throw away Osho Ranjesh ? I do not find any pride in running a company that sells as frivious product as pepsi.

Anon Jun 23 10:05,

Simple answer only man..
In US trash journos like Dilip and Vij etc don't find much room to peddle castesits/racist bile.
US too will have a black president - when the right person is up for it. Yeah, there's a merit to 'merit'.

And Osho being chased off..where did you get it man? He left US on his own along with his Vinod Khanna and other band of yogis minus the 99 Rolls Royce.
Have you heard that Maharashi is building a biggest Hindu center in heart of bible belt - Kansas?

And what's with a swipe at Pepsi? And you know that Pepsi owns Frito-Lays, Arbys and KCF - all employing thousands world-wide?

Anyway, you are way off man, find a blog to match your posts, not otherway around.

Actually US may have a very deserving black candidate right now. Stellar academic and professional track record, superb administration and she plays the piano too. Most unfortunately she is in the wrong party.
