Thanks, Hon'ble Finance Minister

Quiz: How many ministers for social justice do we have?

We don't know the answer, but it appears that more than half the cabinet (except perhaps Kapil Sibal) are busy uplifting Dalits. Abi asks an important question, what is the role of the National Knowledge Commission? That's our question too, what is the role of a Finance minister? Defense minister? How about Commerce and Industry minister? How about Chief ministers of several states?

Meanwhile the SENSEX breaks new milestones everyday.

India could free upto $48 billion of capital a year or 7% of GDP. This could raise the country's real GDP growth to 9.4% a year, a McKinsey research study titled Accelerating India's Growth Through Financial System Reform, said.

We understand that the Hon'ble Minister for Social Justice, Smt. Meira Kumar needs a helping hand as she is too busy enacting laws for the upliftment of her own kids, but how about the country dude?

Don't be so idealistic. Just accept the fact that quotas are here to stay, learn to live with them.

Seems like he is a typical goonda, going by the way he talked to the students. Learn to live with them. hahaha.. yeah, PC is the most overhyped trash-talker around.

P Chidambaram is not at all the intelligent man that he shows himself to be. He is just another wily politician. It was Narasimha Rao who was the one who did the good job with the economy, Madmohan and PC got some of the credit. It was PVNR who was guiding them, in the background. Madmohan is just another bureaucrat who spent his major years under indira and rajiv gandhi, building up the very license-quota-permit raj which he had to demolish under PVNR's orders.

P Chidambaram has borrowed a birds brain to fill in the empty space in his head. Increasing taxes (which hit the middle class the most), targetting the middle class via tax complications and support to reservations (even in the private sector), withdrawal of tax benefits on PF interest, mutual funds, home loans, inflation at over 6%, and he comes up with stupid harebrained budgets . eg, you have to pay a tax for withdrawing your own money from the bank, in excess of 50,000 (or something like that)
