Papa kehte the farmer banega

Aamir - who reportedly purchased some agricultural land in Maval taluka of Pune district - says he has produced relevant documents to substantiate his claims.

"I am an actor and artiste by profession but by birth I am also an agriculturist in the true definition of the word. I come from an agricultural family. My father, along with his brothers and sisters, owns agricultural property in the form of mango orchards in Shahbaad, Uttar Pradesh. My grand father, great grandfather were also agricultiurists"

For some reason these environment and aam aadmi bleeding heart types don't seem to take laws very seriously. Does anyone know if Arundhati Roy returned the land she stole from tribals?

Aamir's great grandfather was a farmer and that makes him a farmer though he doesnt till land. But birth-based Hindu caste system is immoral. Funny!

Good one Sriram. Every society has a kind of caste system, is lost on the pseudo-intellectuals. Of course, it is bad, but why the double-standards ??

Hey, I am a farmer too, by that logic. My great-grandfather was a farmer.. Where is my quota ?? Where are my tax benefits ?? Please please please.. let me know where I can get concessions ?

If Aamir bought land legally from farmers by paying appropriate market price and intends to till the land, why complain? Atleast he didn't pull a Nandigram or Singur on those poor people.

No fan of Aamir guys, but there's something that socialist CPI and CPI(M) fans like dcubed and Vij can learn from Aamir.

If tomorrow dcubed/Vij goes to farming we should support them too. After all better to see them raking sh!t in fields where efforts will benefit humanity than to see them doing same online, I mean on spreading crap around. Though they both have done a good job of it online.
